The ads aren't being displayed anymore. We spoke to our ad provider and tore them up for that. That is unacceptable and we were not happy about it. We would be a hypocrite if we had a porn ad right above/below this announcement.

We were furious about them when we saw them and had them pulled as soon as possible, that's why they're no longer displaying. Apple said "Tighten up or your app is gone", so we're doing so. Get used to it.

Obviously not everone is digging that deeply (considering all the 'hypocrites!' comments), so perhaps the mea culpa should be a public post on the main page. Not a criticism, just a suggestion.
